A Car Wreck You Never Want To Have…

February 16th, 2010 Richard No comments

I live near a police station in Hell’s Kitchen.  On the weekends The City gets flooded with traffic – people going to clubs, out all night in the city, living the dream.  The only problem with driving in the city is it’s packed, bumper to bumper on weekends.  You’re getting nowhere, fast.  Weekends in The City is generally amateur night and that includes drivers.

Someone thought they could beat NYC traffic and totaled their car.  Not kind of sort of totaled, but both passenger and driver side airbags, car rolled over, windshield blown out, f’ked on Mars up kind of  totaled.

This is a Chrysler 300 something.

Roseland

I leave near the Roseland Theater. It’s an iconic space in Midtown West Manhattan near Times Square. The most spectacular acts from Madonna to Motorhead.

Dropkick Murphys played last week. Tonight, The Pogues. I know these groups have been around for ages – but iconic bands, for sure.
